Dear Member Delegates, Presidents, Chairs and Directors,

This is our annual call for volunteers. Please consider giving your time to help us advance the profession of management consulting globally.

We have a few vacancies that require committed individuals to help us implement our strategy. If any of these roles are of interest to your CMC members, please place your nomination by filling out the attached form and sending directly to reema.nasser@cmc-global.org  with cc to cmc-global@cmc-global.org. Also, please note that as agreed if we do not receive enough nominations for dedicated volunteers through the IMCs, we will ourselves start contacting CMCs for recruitment.

All nominations should include:

1. short bio of the nominated volunteer.
2. A paragraph about how s/he will serve ICMCI as part of the identified committee.
3. Confirmation from the IMC that s/he is a CMC in good standing.

Note: any received nomination that does not include above will be disregarded.

The vacancies are: 

·     1 vacancy on the PSC Committee.

·     2 vacancies on the Marketing Committee.

·     2 vacancies on the Membership Committee.

·     2 vacancies on the Finance Committee.

·     8 vacancies on the CMC Global Institute (CMC-GI) Assessors and Mentors. Knowledge of the French language is a plus.

The committees requirements:

1. Professional Standards Committee: knowledge in standards, trained in ISO 20700 is a plus.
2. Marketing Committee: Knowledge in marketing principals and  activities is needed, as the Marketing Committee promotes and communicates the value of the consulting profession (and the CMC designation) around the world as the Marketing Committee supports the efforts and plan of ICMCI. Knowledge of content writing and social media is a plus.
3. Membership Committee: knowledge of the membership structure of ICMCI is a must, outreach and international experience and connections is a plus.
4. Finance Committee: knowledge in finance is needed, knowledge of accounting is a plus. The committee will be supporting the board in the ICMCI strategic plan budgeting and financing. Also, the finance committee will be looking into the sustainability of ICMCI.
5. CMC-Global Institute: attached are the detailed roles and responsibilities.

The committees in general would:

·     Meet at an average of once a month.

·     Assign tasks to its members for specific input/activities/deliverables that meet the ICMCI approved resolutions and policies, and the strategic plan for the coming years.

·     The ED sits on all ICMCI committees to provide the full picture and linked updates.

·     The Board liaison sits on the assigned committees to fulfill his/her role.

·     Committees report to the Board for needed approvals (policies, ToRs, recommendations...etc.) prior to delivrable being treated as public.

·     Confidentiality is a requirement for all above mentioned vacancies/committees and the Code of Conduct declaration and attestation will be signed by all selected nominees.

·     All nominees should value team work and collaboration.

Thanks goes out to all the Members for giving this their attention as the committees will be handling important matters that will address the growth of our network during the coming years. I know that many Members expressed interest in increasing their involvement with ICMCI through volunteers, and I hope those will provide the nominations as promised.
